Whether it be at a time of analysis, the time of exposure or while carefully trying to define or execute an intended visual expression, I have found the subtle presence of peace often to be made manifest.

Indeed, frequently, this discrete sense of peace often guides the creative process towards the goal of resolution. Interestingly, the sister sensation of silence is often poignantly present. To the extent that one is able to achieve a silent state of observation, the opportunity of seeing the silent magic of the world unfolds. The photographs in this chapter are derived from this dual sentiment.
